| CIFELLI sponsors hole-in-1 for annual MDS Aero Support golf tournament |
Kanata, ON-August 15, 1998 - CIFELLI Corporation provided sponsorship at this year's annual employee golf tournament put on by MDS Aero Support Corporation.
"We are very honoured to be working with this world class supplier to the avionics industry" said Tony Cifelli, President & CEO of CIFELLI. "MDS Aero has provided us with many challenging technical opportunities throughout this fiscal year. Their team of dedicated engineers have been a pleasure to work with and we think it befitting our long standing and productive relationship to actively thank them by providing support at this event."
Mr. Claudio De Angelis, engineer at MDS Aero
and this year's tournament organizer added "On behalf of MDS
Aero Support Corporation, I would like to thank you for
your generous donation this year to the MDS

time and because of your contribution, we were able to hold off
everyone's hunger until the buffet was ready."
The
tournament was held at the Loch March Golf &
Country Club in Kanata. Support was centered around Hole
#7. This intimidating Par 3 is guarded by a deceptive pond in front
and sand bunkers on the flank and thick woods in the rear. About 50
golfers were greeted with juice and muffins while they pondered their
attack on the hole. Prizes were as follows:
| # of strokes | prize | winners |
| 1 (hole-in-1) | HyperData KE77T notebook PC est. C$3000 |
none |
| 2 (birdie) | APC Personal Surge Arrest w/ Telephone est. C$60 |
none |
| 3 (par) | cifelli T-shirt est. C$17 |
Mark Hudson |
Honourable mentions go to Dave Crepault, Gunter Baumann, and Bryan Trussler. Of the approximately 50 players, these guys managed to put the ball on the green on the first stroke at Hole #7. Congratulations.
